The UMT Database Refresh feature provides the ability to identify the additions to the database (tables/columns/attributes of tables) and create the new objects automatically into the universe with a timestamp class. Suppose if there are hundreds of columns which are added to the database the user has no clue which are the ones which are newly added or modified. So this feature fills up this white space.
