Pentaho Announces Gold Reseller Program to Meet Growing Global Demand for Business Intelligence

New Partner Program Supports Growth in Established and Emerging Global Markets

Orlando, FL – February 23, 2009 – Pentaho Corporation, the commercial open source alternative for Business Intelligence (BI), today announced the Pentaho Gold Reseller Program, a new program designed to help Pentaho Reseller Partners to quickly scale their joint business with Pentaho to address growing global demand for the company's products and services. The new program extends Pentaho's established global network of systems integrators with a scalable, global, commercial distribution engine. Gold Resellers combine their business intelligence expertise and their local cultural and business understanding to provide the best possible tailored service to their end customers. Pentaho's initial round of Global Resellers includes Bizcubed representing Pentaho in Australia, Brainchild in Hong Kong, Matrix CPM Solutions in Latin and South America, and Saama Technologies in India. Gold Reseller status reflects an expansion in a partner's established relationship with Pentaho, having provided training or other services for Pentaho software and delivered client success to become Pentaho Gold Resellers.

Global demand for Pentaho's commercial open source BI solutions continues to grow in both established and emerging markets. Since June of last year, even as the global economic climate softened, Pentaho saw growth in demand across every major geography, with web lead volumes across Australia, China, India, and South America growing by an average of more than 140% in that time. Pentaho's new Gold Reseller program allows the company to scale its business and worldwide customer base without the traditional expense and long timelines associated with direct expansion.
