Overview

Challenge
For several years, the sponsor knew that its inability to centralize and standardize data for proper analysis and management was negatively impacting the success of its clinical trials. Manual workflows and an inconsistent data governance program were creating costly inefficiencies.
Solution
The sponsor requested a dashboard that executives could use to quickly identify issues and inform smarter business decisions. Based on initial success, the sponsor is collaborating with Saama to develop an enterprise-wide solution across all of the sponsor’s business units.
Results
The solution created immediate value by uncovering serious data holes and inconsistencies, especially around site activations and queries. Real-time reporting and color-coded issue status indicators enable the executive team to stay up to date at a glance. The solution has removed spreadsheets from the process and enables sub-study analytics for a broader view of specialized metrics and adverse events (AEs).
