On February 18th, 2016, Saama hosted Intuition 2016, its annual data and analytics summit. The event attracted more than 350 registered attendees, including some of the top customers, luminaries, analysts, C-level executives, and analytics-driven business leaders from around the world. Guest speakers included respected executives from Cisco, Salesforce, Booz Allen Hamilton, CSAA Insurance Group, Microsoft, and more. We also had the honor of hosting our special dinner guest presenter, Mr. Willie Brown, the ex-Mayor of San Francisco. Big Data expert Chris Surdak (@CSurdak) delivered a high-energy and entertaining view on Disruption: How the Digital Trinity Changes Everything and gave away his award-winning book Data Crush.
Partners, customers, and prospects found a great deal of value in the event and are already making plans to attend next year. Some early quotes from attendees include, “Thank you for an inspiring event – it was simply outstanding!” and “I liked every aspect of it, from the beginning until the last minute.”
Recognition of Partners and Customers
During this event, Saama announced a strategic alignment with Microsoft, including the debut of Saama Fluid Analytics Engine (FAE) on Microsoft Azure Cloud. With this, Saama has brought the strong capabilities of FAE closer to its customers. The event also recognized our customers and partners with the prestigious Intuition awards, which honor Saama customers and partners for excellence in analytics initiatives across a variety of categories:

Intuition Goals and Future Plans
Themes throughout the event focused on accelerating business outcomes, and moving from an era of analytics conceptualization to one of continuous consumption.
