Hyosung ITX is Putting a Spotlight on their Big Data Business, with Help from Saama
Hyosung ITX is focusing on its Big Data business.
On September 13, 2015, Hyosung ITX announced that it would expand its current business focus to include a new end-to-end Big Data solution, based on its strategic partnership with Saama Technologies, a Silicon Valley company that specializes in fast and specific Big Data analytics.
Saama has a long and rich history in providing game changing data and analytics solutions to Global 2000 companies – from laying out the foundations of analytics systems to enabling complete data supply chains and visualizations. To lay the groundwork between the strategic alliance between two companies, Hyosung ITX held a seminar introducing Saama’s capability and experience in Big Data analytics, strategy formation methodology and applications to select executives and staff members from Hyosung ITX’s IT-related subsidiaries; Nautilus Hyosung, Hyosung Information Systems, and Galaxia Communications. The session acted as an opportunity for the subsidiaries to learn about various Big Data use cases, and also as a forum for free discussion on its future applicability.
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Rajeev Dadia (Saama, CTO), and Mr. Murali Krishnam (Saama VP, IoE Analytics). After commencing the session with an introduction to Saama, the two leaders explained in detail the different analytics use cases for various industries, including a specific case for the Connected Consumer analysis and proposal for its application.
