We are proud to announce that Saama Technologies’ chairman of the board, Ken Coleman, has been named in Business Insider’s ranking of The 46 Most Important African-Americans in Technology.

Noticing the lack of African-Americans in technology leadership roles, Business Insider began tracking the most important black people in tech last year to draw attention to the issue and raise the profile of some influential African-American leaders.

Ranking at #18 on the list, Ken Coleman is in good company, alongside leaders such as former Secretary of State and now Dropbox board member, Condoleeza Rice.  Ken is recognized as a longstanding tech veteran with deep roots in the Valley, having held leadership roles in a number of innovative companies including, HP, Activision, Silicon Graphics, and ITM Software, where he served as founder and chairman/CEO. Ken has also served on a number of boards and as an advisor to Andreessen Horowitz.

Since February of 2013, Ken Coleman has served as Chairman of Saama, leading our rapidly growing data and analytics solutions and services company, focused on solving the data management and advanced analytics challenges of the world’s leading brands.
