Saama Hackathon 2017
Saama organized it’s first-ever Hackathon. Thinkers, Coders, Innovators poured in from all walks of technology. The response was astounding, the excitement, astonishing! 16 cool tech-geeky teams came head-on to each other for the most coveted title of being the “COOLEST SAAMA TECHIE”, extraordinary prizes and bragging rights for almost a year! Project Brief: The project helps with clearing the document which is riddled with wrinkles and stains on it. The project uses Machine Learning and Algorithms which are used to improve brightness, remove creases and stains. We used Least Squares Regression, Image Thresholding & Gradient Boosting Machines, Adaptive Thresholding, Canny Edge Detection & Morphology and Median filter function and Background Removal to improve the image quality.

Project Brief: A Voice Controlled home automation system using voice control, which a user can integrate in his home, office, or anywhere and can control the appliances with just a Mobile application using voice commands.

Over these 24 hours, the entire TEAM Saama came together to make it one memorable milestone in our journey. The event was packed with some awesome events like cool Techtalks, nerdy quizzes and Live Band performance!
Employees cheered for their favorite teams, encouraged them and supported them in every possible way. The results were sweet but the memories created are sweeter and would be cherished for a long time here.
Backed by this overwhelming response, the team at Saama is looking forward to the next hackathon.
