We lead such busy lives, and do so much in a day – dealing with deadline pressures, attending in numerous meetings, talking to clients and colleagues, fighting fires. We then begin from the top all over again the next day.
It’s easy to keep doing this without pause. Thankfully, pun intended, during this period, we’re reminded to pause and reflect, and to say, “thank you.”
This time of year, Americans celebrate and appreciate the hospitality that was shown strangers. Today, in a world where it’s easy to be caught up in the day-to-day tasks, we forget to take a moment to pause and say a heartfelt, “thank you,” especially when there is so much to be thankful for.
We’re thankful to our employees who give us and our customers their hearts and minds. Many work long hours to keep projects on track. It’s inspiring to work with dedicated and talented people. We’re thankful to our customers whose projects literally improve the world we live in. We appreciate the opportunity to help them make the world a better place.
When there is such a spirit of innovation and kindness, it spills over into other parts of our lives. I would like to take a moment to look back at the initiatives we undertook this year that made us feel wonderful to be a part of a diverse and caring community:
- Sponsored the Light the Night Walk with our clients, Celgene, an initiative dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin disease, and myeloma
- Made meal bags for a San Jose homeless shelter, Life Moves
- Participated in the annual Second Harvest Food Bank food drive helping serve more than a quarter of a million people on a monthly basis, including elderly and children
- Made a charitable donation to the American Cancer Society
We would not be here without the support and appreciation of our amazing clients. All our achievements and wins come directly from them. We feel truly appreciative to be a part of their lives and a contributor to their successes!
We wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and look forward to another year of collaborations and innovations.
