To align with what science dictates as necessary to reduce the destructive impacts of climate change on human society and nature, Saama has committed to setting science-based near-term emissions reduction targets aligned with the Science Based Target Initiative’s (SBTi) Criteria and Recommendations. By signing this Commitment Letter, our organization indicates an intent to join the growing group of leading corporations that are setting emissions reduction targets in line with what climate science says is necessary. By doing so, we recognize the crucial role the business community can play in minimizing the risk climate change poses to the future of our planet.

Back-to-School Campaign

Saama ensured students were prepared for the academic year by giving them school bags filled with essential supplies. Additionally, team members taught and mentored students, providing knowledge and encouragement.

School Blackboard Painting and Cleaning

Saama organized a “School Blackboard Painting and Cleaning” event at the Veer Netaji Palkar School in Pune. The event was held before the students returned to school to ensure they would have a vibrant learning environment.

Books, Bags & Big Smiles

The Lok Vikas NGO, in association with Saama, successfully hosted the “Book, Bags & Big Smiles” initiative, which aimed to provide educational resources, such as school kits and books to children.
