Chairman of Saama Technologies honored at the Global Silicon Valley (GSV) Hall of Fame Awards

Kenneth (Ken) L. Coleman, a veteran and distinguished technology leader, has been inducted in this year’s GSV Hall of Fame for his exemplary and remarkable contribution towards creating, leading and advising some of the most important technology companies in the world.
The recently held Pioneer Summit 2016 culminated with the GSV’s Second Annual Global Silicon Valley Hall of Fame Awards ceremony. This prestigious ceremony is aimed at honoring and celebrating the pioneers and mavericks of Silicon Valley. The core mission of the award is to celebrate the leaders who have inspired generations of innovators and dreamers.
Ken Coleman has long been a trailblazer and a pioneering mentor in the Valley. He has held senior positions at leading technology companies like Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI), Activision Inc. and Hewlett-Packard. He has mentored some of the most successful leaders not only in the Valley but also around the world and is one of the most influential leaders in Silicon Valley.
In addition to being a prominent philanthropist, Ken is the Chairman of Saama Technologies Inc., one of the largest pure-play data science and analytics solutions and services companies in the world. He is also a Special Adviser at Andreessen Horowitz, an Advisor at Pinterest and a board member at numerous leading companies. Ken is a board member of CSAA Insurance, Entertainment Partners, Carrick Capital and Procura.
The Award ceremony named Ken alongside Carol Bartz and Gordy Davidson, with a special tribute to Andy Grove, the co-founder of Intel.
