Saama’s Smart ClinSAP Wins the 2026 CDISC AI Innovation Challenge

For the second year in a row, Saama has been named a winner of the CDISC AI Innovation Challenge. This year, Smart ClinSAP won the 2026 AI-Driven Generation of Statistical Analysis Plans use case.

For biostatistics teams, translating a clinical protocol into a complete Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) can take weeks of manual work. Maintaining clear connections between protocol intent, planned analyses, and executable code adds further complexity to the process.

Smart ClinSAP brings those elements together in a structured, traceable workflow. It transforms clinical protocol content into an executable SAP, extending through to SAS and R code, while keeping statisticians in control of the decisions that require their expertise.
